Jeffrey Fowle, the 56 year old man from Lebanon, Ohio who made international news for leaving a bible behind in North Korea, was motivated by the great commission. He left a Korean/English bible under a trash can in the bathroom of the Chongjin Seaman’s Club. He wanted to help Christians in North Korea.
“The only thing I can say is at the time I felt I did what I had to do in trying to fill Jesus’ great commission.”
