Gospel Witnessing to Catholics at Red’s Game

May 8, 2023 by Dave Leave a Comment

Gospel Witnessing to Catholics at Red’s Game

On May 5th, 2023 these two Catholics heard the true gospel of Jesus Christ. See the video below: Gospel Witnessing to Catholics at Red’s game.

In this video, you will see a man change his mind. He started by saying, “I am not a sinner.” But by the end of the video, he admitted, “I am a sinner.”

Then he affirmed the false Catholic gospel (faith plus baptism). But by the end of the video, you will see him reject the Catholic gospel and hear the true saving Gospel (repentance and faith).

Join us in praying that these men would repent and believe the true gospel. And that they would trust in Christ alone and leave the Catholic church.

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:13-14

Tax Collector’s Prayer in Luke 18:13-14

Does this simple prayer reflect the foundation of your theology? If so, turn to Jesus and live.

But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other.

Luke 18:13-14

True Gospel

The Bible teaches that we are saved by repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ (alone). Ephesians 2:8-9 states:

For by grace you have been saved through faith.

And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

False Gospel of Catholic Church

But according to the Catholic Catechism number 1427,”… it is by faith in the gospel AND by Baptism that one renounces evil and gains salvation, that is, the forgiveness of all sins and the gift of new life.”

Additionally, Catholic Catechism 1257 says, “The Church does not know of any means other than Baptism that assures entry into eternal beatitude…”

Consequences for False Gospels

According to Galatians 1:8-9, a false gospel lead to death.

As we have said before, so now I say again:

If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received,

let him be accursed.

Galatians 1:9

Gospel Witnessing to Catholics in Love

We love our Catholic friends. Our heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved (Romans 10:1-4). So we are compelled to tell them the true gospel. And we warn them about the consequences of believing a false gospel.

Spit Upon for the Gospel

Spit Upon for the Gospel
Spit Upon for he Gospel

Spit Upon for the Gospel

This angry man threatened us and spit upon me at the Kettering, Ohio kill mill. Although I did not press charges, this man was guilty of assault. And he knew it.

We do gospel-driven abortion ministry in Kettering, Ohio. We call on men and women to repent of the sin of abortion. And we point everyone to the cross of Christ for mercy and forgiveness of sins.

The gospel is already an offense (Gal 5:11-12). But can you imagine the reactions when we call customers to repent of abortion? Sometimes emotions get heated and the language gets profane.

I wear a GoPro camera as a deterrent to crime. And I was grateful to be able to show the Kettering Police the video (below). They were able to make contact with the man and speak frankly with him about free speech and the potential consequences of his actions.

Obviously, I do not celebrate getting spit upon. And I am not looking to become a victim in the future. But I offer this video to the body of Christ to remind Christians that His grace is sufficient.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10

Join us in praying that this man repent of his sins and receive Christ as Savior. God can change hearts.

Fiery Exchange at Kill Mill

November 30, 2022 by Dave 1 Comment

Fiery Exchange at Kill Mill

We have compassion for this man and his family. But we are called to proclaim the truth. Please join us in praying that he and his wife would repent of the sin of abortion and obey Jesus Christ.

This man had a variety of abortion excuses: he already had four children, he was out of work due to COVID, his house had limited number of bedrooms and more. He claimed that he had built churches in Mexico and Kenya and his Uncle was a Pastor. But he could not explain why a Christian would be at a kill mill. And he was a slave to his sin: abortion.

We are used to seeing men and women having a bad day. And we rejoice in telling them about the mercies of Christ. But this man claimed to be a Christian. So we labored hard in calling him to repent and obey Jesus.

Praise God that He can grant repentance to any man (2 Timothy 2:25-26).

John 3:36 We Must Obey

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life;

whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Love Sign at Kill Mill

Get the Rest of the Sign Printed

Love Sign at Kill Mill

God is love. But God is also a God of mercy, compassion, anger and wrath. This two minute video includes a quick discussion of a few of the communicable attributes of God and a call to, “Get the rest of the sign printed.”

For solid teaching on the communicable attributes of God, check out Pastor Steve Lawson’s series: The Attributes of God.

In addition, this man claims that, “God can’t take his eyes off us.” This shocked us. We laughed out loud. Really? We pointed him to Isaiah 59: 1-2. God has turned his face away from us until we know Christ.

We are praying for more opportunities to point this man to the biblical gospel and to the God of the scriptures. He can change his heart.

Two Minute Video: Love Sign at Kill Mill

God Can’t Take His Eyes Off Us ? Really?

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save,

or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;

but your iniquities have made a separation

between you and your God,

and your sins have hidden his face from you

so that he does not hear.

Isaiah 59:1-2
